John Arnott

John Arnott has more than 35 years of progressive P&L experience through building and leading global healthcare organizations in medical products, diagnostics/life sciences, pharmaceuticals (proprietary and generic) and consumer nutrition.

John was most recently Operating Partner and Executive Chairman of multiple portfolio companies for The Riverside Company, a leading private equity firm investing in companies with enterprise values of up to $250 million. Before that, John was President of IDEX Health & Science LLC, a $200+ million premier provider of engineered fluidic products and related sub-systems to the global Life Sciences Market.

Prior to his IDEX role, John was a Senior Executive Advisor with Water Street Healthcare Partners, a Chicago-based healthcare focused private equity firm. At Water Street, John served as the Executive Chairman of Sierra Scientific Instruments, a leading provider of specialty diagnostic devices, and President & Chief Executive Officer of Alpine Biomed Corporation, a global leader in specialty diagnostic devices. Prior to Alpine Biomed, John was one of four Founding Officers of Hospira where he played an instrumental role in establishing the company as a $3.5 billion publicly traded leader in specialty pharmaceutical and medical products. Earlier in his career, John also served as a Corporate Officer with Abbott and held positions with Wellcome Diagnostics and the National Health Service in the United Kingdom.

John currently serves on the Board of Directors and as an Executive Advisor to TissueTech, Inc., a leader in innovative technologies using products derived from human amniotic and umbilical cord tissues. He also served on the Board of Medical Specialties Distributors, a $300 million leading provider of infusion-related products and services for the alternate care market.

John is a fellow of the Institute of Medical Laboratory Sciences and received his degree in medical laboratory sciences from Caledonian University in Glasgow.
