Cannon O’Brien is a Director of Business Development at Edgewater.

Before joining Edgewater, Cannon served as a Director at Serent Capital, where he specialized in theme development, deal origination, M&A strategy, process management, and investment execution. During his tenure at Serent, Cannon started and led the origination efforts for Serent’s IT Infrastructure investment thesis .

Prior to Serent, Cannon was a Principal at Castle Crow & Company where he was responsible for developing and initiating new middle-market platform investments and acquisition opportunities. During his tenure, Cannon has worked on originating investments in a wide range of industries including manufacturing, specialty chemicals, aerospace, consumer products, business services, packaging, and oil & gas.

Cannon holds a B.S.B.A in Finance & Economics from Sierra Nevada College (now University of Nevada, Reno).
